Set in a leafy location within a working farm this spacious former barn has characterful rooms and is surrounded by fields where the resident highland cows and Portland sheep roam. The pretty village of Stoke Abbott has a beautiful backdrop of rolling countryside including Lewesdon Hill making it the ideal spot for enjoying a walk or cycle ride right from your doorstep. The stunning Jurassic Coast where you will find a choice of beautiful beaches including Lyme Regis Charmouth and West Bay is a short drive away. For a relaxing day out why not explore one of the many pretty towns and villages that are accessible from here including Beaminster and Bridport which offer a great selection of cafes boutique shops and restaurants. The semi-detached property is approached by a long driveway and is set within the farmyard. On entering from the parking area via a couple of steps you are met by a bright and airy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The kitchen area is well-equipped with an electric oven and hob fridge/freezer and microwave. Here you can enjoy relaxed family meals around the farmhouse style table before settling down with a film in front of the wood burner. Heading along an inner hallway you will find a spacious king-size bedroom and a further twin bedroom with TV. Both rooms make use of the Jack and Jill bathroom which has a shower the bath and WC. Heading outside you will find a pretty terrace with garden furniture and BBQ. Located directly outside of the kitchen/diner area it s the perfect spot for enjoying a meal outdoors on a warm summers evening. A few steps from the property is also a large raised decked area with outdoor furniture. This is shared with the neighbouring cottage and has lovely views overlooking the owner s field.
